Daniel Pasos – QA Automation Engineer
Daniel Pasos is a QA Automation Engineer at Gorilla Logic. He is from Bagaces in Guanacaste, but now lives in Heredia, Costa Rica. He has been working as a QA engineer for over 4 years, specializing in manual and automation testing. He enjoys learning about new technologies, traveling to new places, and is a big fan of soccer and anime.
Where’s your hometown? – Bagaces, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Favorite place you’ve traveled to? – Tokyo, Japan.
How many years have you worked in your field? – Four years.
Best advice you have received personally or professionally? – Always try to give more than what people expect from you.
How do you spend your free time? – I like to watch anime, soccer matches, various TV shows, and enjoy playing video games.
If you could travel back in time to any period in history, when would it be? – I’m not very interested in traveling to the past, what would be great is to travel to the future!
Where do you go to relax and recharge? – I stay home to relax and recharge.
What made you want to work at Gorilla Logic? – The opportunity to learn new things, their benefits, and good comments about the work environment.
Best advice when heading into an interview? – Be prepared to answer the questions less likely to be asked, and don’t try to be what you are not.

What motivated you to pursue working in your current field? – I have always been interested in everything related to technology and I like to solve puzzles, so I thought it was a good fit for me.
What qualities make someone successful in the tech world? – Keep learning new things. Be patient and persistent.
