Luis is a Senior Full Stack Developer at Gorilla Logic who likes technology, learning new things, and challenging himself. He has experience with SQL and enjoys working with data. Luis has worked in both back-end and front-end on several projects. He likes video games, movies, books, and travel.

Where’s your hometown? – San José.

Favorite place you’ve traveled to? – Europe.

How many years have you worked in your field? – 11 years.

Best advice you have received personally or professionally? – Always do your best.

How do you spend your free time? – Playing video games or hanging out with my wife.

If you could travel back in time to any period in history, when would it be? – Maybe the 60’s

Best childhood memory? – The day I met my dog.

Where do you go to relax and recharge? – My bedroom.

What made you want to work at Gorilla Logic? – Learn new technologies and grow as a professional.

Who are the biggest cheerleaders in your life? – My wife.

Best advice when heading into an interview? – Be yourself and trust what you know.

Best advice when meeting with a client? – Be nice and show interest.

Now that you have greater insight on the world (maybe;)), what would you go back and tell your 18 year old self? – Save some money.

What motivated you to pursue working in your current field? – Be able to create and innovate.

What qualities make someone successful in the tech world? – Continuous desire to adapt and learn.
