Edmund Neil — Tableau Developer
Edmund is one of our amazing Tableau Developers here at Gorilla Logic. He has been working in Business Intelligence for about 14 years. When Ed is off the clock, he spends his free time with his family, playing soccer, or reading all about tech from multiple publications. Ed is committed to his career in tech and believes the most valuable resource in the world is data and knows that data professionals make a huge impact every company. We are so happy to have him as a part of our Band!
Where’s your hometown? I am from Limon, Costa Rica.
Favorite place you’ve traveled to? I would have to say London, it was incredible!
How many years have you worked in your field? I have been working in Business Intelligence for 14 years now.
Best advice you have received personally or professionally? Make sure to find the balance between work and life.
How do you spend your free time? I love to spend my free time either with my family or playing soccer with friends.
What is your guilty pleasure TV show? Definitely, Captain Tsubasa, or as we know it Supercampeones, it has been my favorite tv show since 1993.
Where do you go to relax and recharge? To relax and recharge I like to go to the beach.
What made you want to work at Gorilla Logic? I had heard so many good things about this company and they are a leader in the industry, also the overall work environment is incredible and I am happy to be a part of Gorilla Logic.
Best advice when heading into an interview? Be honest and transparent, no matter what.
Now that you have greater insight on the world (maybe;)), what would you go back and tell your 18-year-old self? Don’t be afraid of other people’s opinions.
