Since graduating from Tecnológico de Costa Rica in 2005, Sol has been involved in software development. With over 10 years in QA, he is now a senior Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation Engineer. To relax and recharge he likes watching the tv show Adventure Time, going to the gym, and the Dance Academy.

Best advice you have received personally or professionally? – Never change your personality, even if things are not going well.
If you could perform on stage with one famous musician/group, who would it be and why? – Juan Luis Guerra because he has one of the best voices out there.
If you could travel back in time to any period in history, when would it be? – The 1970’s. People were looking for peace and love.
Best childhood memory? – Watching TV series like Dragon Ball and Saint Seiya.
What’s one of your most embarrassing memories? – When I started dancing and had to ask a girl to dance for the first time.
What made you want to work at Gorilla Logic? – People told me about the great work environment.
What is your most used tool in your office? – Confluence and Jira.
What was one of the most rewarding leadership positions you have had? – Becoming a team lead for the automation team.
Best advice when heading into an interview? – If you don’t know the answer to something, be honest, and just admit that you don’t know.
What qualities make someone successful in the tech world? – Someone proactive, self-motivated, and responsible.
