Where’s your hometown? – I am from a rural town called San Antonio de Escazu, with lots of Costa Rican traditions, old style farmers and cows in the streets.
Favorite place you’ve traveled to? – Definitely London, England. It is my favorite place outside of my hometown in Costa Rica.
How many years have you worked in your field? – I started playing with a PC at 12 on an IBM AT computer. My first computer related work was at 15 on a Bulletin Board System with modems and banks of 5 1/4 disks. My first full-time job at 18 was as Customer Support for Acer America. So, yes, I have 25+ years of experience.
Best childhood memory? – Riding BMX bikes and making race tracks with jumps and…whoops…
Best advice when meeting with a client? – Research, prepare and practice before any meeting with clients. Going in blind is a call for a disaster.
What qualities make someone successful in the tech world? – Passion, teamwork, and innovation.
