Carrie Borzillo Lead Live Ops Producer
Carrie Borzillo is one of Gorilla Logic’s talented Lead Live Ops Producers. She has been working in digital media for seven years. Carrie is an award-winning journalist and critically acclaimed pop culture author. In her free time, Carrie enjoys Yoga, spin classes, meditation, cooking, hiking, and hosting dinner parties.
Where’s your hometown? – Wallingford, CT.
What’s your spirit animal? – Cat.
Favorite place you’ve traveled to? – Slovenia, because I had the opportunity to drink homemade Absinthe made by nuns in a 15th-century monastery.
How many years have you worked in your field? – Well, actually, I juggle two fields: Journalism since age 17, and Digital Media for about 7 years.
If you could perform onstage with one famous musician/group, who would it be and why? – David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust Tour — because he was not only a musical, visual, and creative genius, but a tech visionary as well.
What is your guilty pleasure TV show? – Too many to admit. But as a member of the Television Academy, I feel it’s my duty to watch as much TV (good and bad) as possible. Right now, my guilty pleasure is anything on Bravo or TLC.
What was one of the most rewarding leadership positions you have had? – As a Billboard magazine Features Editor/Columnist because it resulted in my first book deal, on-camera television opportunities, journalism awards, and the honor of being named one of the most influential Californians in the music industry at the age of 26.
