When he’s not traveling to far flung destinations, Mark is sourcing the best and brightest Agile software development talent for our clients.
Mark joined Gorilla Logic after serving as a technical recruiter for an IT and digital marketing resource agency. He set his sights on an in-house recruiting role that would allow him to have more interaction with candidates while getting to know them on a personal level. Gorilla Logic’s commitment to building Agile teams that meet the unique skills, work styles and cultures of our diverse clients dovetailed perfectly with Mark’s recruiting style. He also appreciated the inclusive, outgoing nature of our Gorillas who readily share their interests and knowledge with each other.
“As a Gorilla, you have to be honest, hardworking and genuinely care about the people you’re connecting with. You need to have a personal investment in their success.” says Mark. “If we’re just telling them what they want to hear so that they’ll sign your offer, we’re doing a disservice to them and our clients.”
Away from the office, Mark indulges in his passions for snowboarding, kayaking, backpacking, camping and hiking. Mark’s musical tastes are diverse as well with Sturgill Simpson, Johnny Cash, Tyler Childers, Jay Cole and the Eagles getting heavy rotation on his Spotify.
