Tracy Villafuerte Hernandez – Senior Manual QA Engineer
Tracy is one of Gorilla Logic’s talented Senior Manual QA Engineers. She has been working in software development for over 6 years. When she is not busy being a Gorilla, you’ll find Tracy singing, cycling, traveling, and spending lots of time with her daughter.
Where’s your hometown? – La Cruz, Guanacaste in Costa Rica.
Best advice you have received personally or professionally? – Do not be afraid of failure, people fail every day in many ways, you will rise again. The best things are there for those who fight to be better.
If you could perform on stage with one famous musician/group, who would it be and why? – It would definitely be P!nk. She inspires me to be who I am.
What is your personal motto? – “If you have integrity it is all that matters, if you don’t have integrity it is all that matters.” – Craig Groeschel
Something that your LinkedIn profile couldn’t tell us? – I love to sing.
What was one of the most rewarding leadership positions you have had? – When I was leading a technology event in Liberia Guanacaste, The Great Idea. I helped students in Guanacaste and Puntarenas get to know more about technology than they are usually exposed to.
What qualities make someone successful in the tech world? – Passion, commitment, and hard work. You can train skills, but you can’t train passion.
