Where’s your hometown? – Seattle.
What’s your spirit animal? – It would have to be the Greyhound, since I have two of them. 🙂
Favorite place you’ve traveled to? – Sabi Sand private game reserve in South Africa.
Best advice you have received personally or professionally? – Do every job to the best of your ability.
How do you spend your free time? – Riding my bike in the summer, skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. I also partake in Pilates twice a week, walk my Greyhounds, and work in my garden (new hobby).
What is your guilty pleasure TV show? – The Bachelor/Bachelorette (eek, I am not proud).
Best childhood memory? – Summers at Cannon Beach Oregon.
What was one of the most rewarding leadership positions you have had? – Any scrum master position/agile coach role where I can help the team do their best work and get out of their way.
Best advice when heading into an interview? – Just relax and be yourself. If they don’t like you, then you don’t want to work there. Don’t forget to be prepared, and do your homework.
What qualities make someone successful in the tech world? – Not being afraid to fail, because that is how you do your best work.
