Andres has been involved in the software development industry for over 18 years. He first started as a Software Engineer and then moved to Tech Lead, Release Manager and, more recently, Scrum Master and Agile Project Manager. He became an enthusiast of Agile when he has introduced to it back in 2008. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, working out and scuba diving.

Best advice you have received personally or professionally? -If you don’t know, ask!
If you could travel back in time to any period in history, when would it be? – The 60’s.
What made you want to work at Gorilla Logic? – Great projects and awesome culture.
What is your personal motto? – Your age is only in your mind!
Something that your LinkedIn profile couldn’t tell us? – I’m a really bad guitar player.
Who are the biggest cheerleaders in your life? – My niece and nephews.
Now that you have greater insight on the world, what would you go back and tell your 18-year-old self? – If you want it, go for it!
What qualities make someone successful in the tech world? – You have to be passionate about learning. This is a high-speed industry and something you know today will be outdated tomorrow. You will have to start over and over again more than once across your professional career, so evolving and adapting is crucial. If you are the “I studied everything I needed” kind of person, you ain’t gonna make it!
