Where’s your hometown? – Heredia, Costa Rica.
What’s your spirit animal? – Turtle.
Favorite place you’ve traveled to? – Key West, Florida.
If you could perform on stage with one famous musician/group, who would it be and why? – It would be Rush. They’re my favorite rock band.
If you could travel back in time to any period in history, when would it be? – I think it would be prehistory. I’ve always wondered how dinosaurs look.
What is your guilty pleasure TV show? – Let’s say Dragon Ball Super, however, I don’t feel guilty at all!
Best childhood memory? When I went more than 4 days to the beach for the first time; it was awesome!
Where do you go to relax and recharge? – Meditate, play and record music, walk, do exercise and of course sleep well.
What made you want to work at Gorilla Logic? – I noticed that Gorilla Logic is full of great people and I think the best you can do to get better is be surrounded by great people.
What is your most used tool in your office? – My computer, of course, and my mug.
Something that your LinkedIn profile couldn’t tell us? – It doesn’t tell how many times I had to learn from my own mistakes to reach my professional goals.
Who are the biggest cheerleaders in your life? – My family.
What was one of the most rewarding leadership positions you have had? – I think when I had my own company a couple of years ago. I really like to develop people.
Best advice when heading into an interview? – Breath. Take it easy and kick some ass! Interviews are about feeling confident.
Now that you have greater insight on the world (maybe), what would you go back and tell your 18 year old self? – I would say time is priceless, but at the same time, don’t take life too seriously, errors and experiments are necessary.
Favorite tech blog/website/publication? – SitePoint, CodeSchool and Hacker News.
What motivated you to pursue working in your current field? – The Drupal Community. Sharing knowledge is great.
What qualities make someone successful in the tech world? – An endless hunger to learn. Technology is always changing and if you enjoy learning you’ll be ok.
